We only get hot water to our shower tap and none in our bathroom or kitchen sinks.

Some people have no hot water at all and just get cold water in all taps even showers or have very limited water supply to their house even.tacogirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649973598753418832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1152496700936796370.post-75297128606479927162008-06-04T12:47:00.000-06:002008-06-04T12:47:00.000-06:00Hey tacogirl! I understand the island mentality you speak of. I was born and raised in Hawaii, and while it is still pristine, development is slowly turning it into a mini metropolis. But I'm glad bioheat is something you're thinking about, did you get to check out the website and read up more about it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1152496700936796370.post-88718343044536067632008-05-27T15:03:00.000-06:002008-05-27T15:03:00.000-06:00Addie thanks for your comment. It's pretty much dawned on me that going green isn't something we can simply switch on and off in our minds. The world today is such a radically different place, and everything we do has cause and effect. We are the cause of pollution on this Earth, and we are feeling the effects. Rising gas prices, rising food prices, bad economy, more health risks, the war, etc. There's so many things going on that we can't ignore. So it's so important to do everything we can to help our planet. Because as far as we know we're the only intelligent life forms in our immediate solar system, so if we're so intelligent, why don't we sue that to prolong our existence on this physical plane for as long as possible without causing any more detrimental effects to this planet.

Another thing I want to talk about is bioheat, it’s just one small measure that people can take in order to start living a greener lifestyle.

Has anyone ever heard of it, or has switched to it? I want to start taking initiative in turning my home into a greener household, one way I have started is by switching out all my lightbulbs in my home to energy efficient lightbulbs. And I am also seriously considering switching over to bioheat as an alternative to regular oilheat. The thing that I love the most about it is that it’s completely clean burning, and is comprised of a b5 blend of oils which are derived from natural plant and vegetable sustainable resources such as corn, hemp, and avocados just to name a few. If you all want more information on how bioheat works, just go on to http://oilheatamerica.com/index.mv?screen=bioheat I work with NORA to bring this info to you all!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
