Paper airplanes

Image
Chatting with Bill, Beth, Courtney and Colly on the coconut phone and enjoying my second iced coffee. This afternoon Denise and I are heading to the school to make an attempt at doing an art class for the kids. We had planned on using toilet paper rolls and making some sort of crafts with them. After Google searching that idea and not really finding anything I wanted to print off for an example, I got to thinking what if we did not have enough toilet paper rolls? Would there be enough things handy to decorate them with? Then it hit me paper airplanes - with a quick search I was able to find lots of designs. I tested one and was able to make it fly. I figured If I could have some sort of success on my first try then maybe we could get the boys and girls airborne. Anyone interested in participating in art, drama or any skill set they might have to offer please email me at the address in my profile - this can be a one time thing or on a part time basis. Just printed off 25 or so coloring ...

4 - Hour Work week

The 4 - Hour work week Escape 9 - 5 Live Anywhere And Join The New Rich Timothy Ferris A short while ago, Alan told me this is one book I should be reading so I followed his advice and found a copy on eBay - tacoboy even called next in line to read it. I have not read chapter 1 yet and can already say I am sure many of you would be inspired by this book - good for airplane reading - you might even even find a copy for sale while waiting for your flight. Yesterday I got my green highlighter out and started reading the introduction, highlighting the good bits as I went a long - below are some parts that stood out for me - I feel like this book will definitly add a few more pieces to the puzzle. From using Jedi Mind tricks to disappear from the office to designing businesses that finance your lifestyle, there are paths for every comfort level. Live Life Large - instead of postponing it. Block Party - Savor San Pedro 2008

Image
Savor San Pedro block party was a huge success. So much food to choose from and the prices were reasonable so we all got to taste a few different things. Among my favorites were the Pineapple Dark Chocolate from Kakaw and the smoked Wahoo dip from Palapa bar both recommended by David and Ryan. I also enjoyed Palapa's pulled pork with Cindy and shared a plate of buttered chicken with rice and pakora from Blue Lotus with Paul. Entertainment was great lots of dance groups, live musicians and fire show. After the party we hung out in town for a bit and caught some live music. - the night would not be complete without stopping for a couple of $2 tacos on the way home.
