Don't try this at home

For some strange reason I have always enjoyed seeing people standing on back of trucks riding around town. I think for me it is a constant reminder that life as we know it is not the same as it used to be and I like that.

Went to trivia night at Tackle Box - Scott really tested our minds tonight. BrusselSprout joined team taco and we captured the win and the bottle of one barrel with 22 points. BrusselSprout said we cold keep the rum - it will come in handy when we have a few friends over to toast our new digs.

Too Funny - The last time I was in Honduras, actually on Roatan, we were with friends that have a place there and keep a small pickup(pu). They put lawn chairs in the bed of the pu and that is passenger seating. We were heading out one evening, just after dusk, and were stopped at a light - a guy hauls himself over the tailgate, sits down, and clearly expected no complaint about hitching a ride. We didn't complain, had a nice chat, and he got out about a 1/2 mile later.

Help Save Bacalar Chico

According to 7News Belize, the Government of Belize is planning to 'De-Reserve' at least 3,000 acres of the Bacalar Chico Marine & Wildlife Reserve in Northern Ambergris Caye, and sell the land to developers. According to reports, the deal is all but done. Residents of Ambergris Caye are being urged to come together and protest this issue. It is also very important for non residents of Belize to support this issue. Many of you have fallen in love with Ambergris Caye and keep coming back for more.
