Had a quiet morning at home then Jeannie and Pam came buy to go for lunch at Wild Mango. I had my usual Amy's Chef salad and an Arnold Palmer to drink (1/2 iced tea 1/2 lime) - both yum.

Jeanie and Pam had to rush off to house business which entailed getting the refrigerator man to the ferry dock and the dog to the vet. Tacobro and I headed down front street to go hang out at Perk for a bit then walked home.

Went to town for dinner at Blue Moon and food was great as always. Paul had chicken fajitas Rob blackened fish and I did shrimp quesadillas and a side of fries that were best ones ever in 3 years we lived here - hand cut.

Of course we could not send tacobro home without trying DandiE's first. We went and chatted with Dan and Eileen where we enjoyed - red apple on a sugar cone - coconut and sour sop in a cup and peanutbutter with a hot fudge bullseye in the center. Can you guess who ordered what? Please leave comment and see if you get it right.

Statia Girl you came closest as you got Rob right with coconut sour sop combo - Paul was red apple and I was peanut butter with hot fudge bulls eye.

Help Save Bacalar Chico

According to 7News Belize, the Government of Belize is planning to 'De-Reserve' at least 3,000 acres of the Bacalar Chico Marine & Wildlife Reserve in Northern Ambergris Caye, and sell the land to developers. According to reports, the deal is all but done. Residents of Ambergris Caye are being urged to come together and protest this issue. It is also very important for non residents of Belize to support this issue. Many of you have fallen in love with Ambergris Caye and keep coming back for more. Please help us make it known how we feel about the preservation of Marine and Wildlife Reserve area of Bacalar Chico.
