The image to the right - a single girl posing on the bridge. I was really glad I caught the image as it is not my typical style. Those who know me well know I love taking group shots and often my pics are not posed preferring to just catch the moment and not direct it.

I am being a little sneaky in this post as all of the mystery judges are somewhere in the images. You are welcome to guess if you like but my lips are still sealed.

Contest update... 26 contestants are entered. Each contestant has been numbered on a master list and their photographs will be titled with their number - a letter and category. The judges will be judging by number and letter to select their favorite pictures in each category.


I had a hard time deciding which people pics to post and now after uploading my choices I am doing my final pruning - so for now consider this a work in progress.

Help Save Bacalar Chico

According to 7News Belize, the Government of Belize is planning to 'De-Reserve' at least 3,000 acres of the Bacalar Chico Marine & Wildlife Reserve in Northern Ambergris Caye, and sell the land to developers. According to reports, the deal is all but done. Residents of Ambergris Caye are being urged to come together and protest this issue. It is also very important for non residents of Belize to support this issue. Many of you have fallen in love with Ambergris Caye and keep coming back for more. Please help us make it known how we feel about the preservation of Marine and Wildlife Reserve area of Bacalar Chico. If you are not in Belize and want to take a stand against the sale and de-reserve of Bacalar Chico land please leave a comment with your first and last name and where you are from and I will put together a master list.
