Nothing like a good fundraiser party - music - gambling - great prizes and all you can eat Pizza were all definitly a big hit.

The tents outside transformed Pedro's into a magical party place where everyone enjoyed the sounds of Melodyman Escobar and Small World Band - jello shots - bingo - raffles - roulette . For the more serious gamblers there were inside tables to play blackjack and poker. The Island Academy Teachers did a great job making sure we all had raffle tickets - fresh bingo cards - jello shots and everyone who came out for the event looked fabulous all dolled up for Casino night.

WOW looks like it was a fun nite. Great to see people took the opportunity to 'dress up'. Everyone appears to be having a grand time.
Also glad to see the No Smoking sign.
BUT where is the picture of Ms Cindy in her red dress????/

Was loads of fun tq - the Chunkys were in party mode that night - had to get wee in for Chunk's birthday and before they left.
I figured it was a good opportunity to actually wear a dress ha ha.

I agree on no smoking Gail actually I think if Pedro could he would make bar non smoking but that just won't fly. Joe has pics of Miss Cindy on photographyinbelize.com site

Help Save Bacalar Chico

According to 7News Belize, the Government of Belize is planning to 'De-Reserve' at least 3,000 acres of the Bacalar Chico Marine & Wildlife Reserve in Northern Ambergris Caye, and sell the land to developers. According to reports, the deal is all but done. Residents of Ambergris Caye are being urged to come together and protest this issue. It is also very important for non residents of Belize to support this issue. Many of you have fallen in love with Ambergris Caye and keep coming back for more. Please help us make it known how we feel about the preservation of Marine and Wildlife Reserve area of Bacalar Chico. If you are not in Belize and want to take a stand against the sale and de-reserve of Bacalar Chico land please leave a comment with your first and last name and where you are from and I will put together a master list.
