Bonnie and Carole picked me up last night and we took a short joyride around town before heading to the Holiday Hotel party. They did not end up coming inside, but Andi-Lee Peter, Db and Ryan were all there as well as a few other friends so I was in good company. As the night wore on I danced with death for a while, that did not help me win a prize but I had fun all the same ha ha. By the end of the night it was Andi-Lee Peter Ryan and I. We took a walk on the beach to get away from the noise for a bit. By that time it was 3 am and I needed to get home so I could be in decent shape for the Saga Fundraiser today. According to 7News Belize, the Government of Belize is planning to 'De-Reserve' at least 3,000 acres of the Bacalar Chico Marine & Wildlife Reserve in Northern Ambergris Caye, and sell the land to developers. According to reports, the deal is all but done. Residents of Ambergris Caye are being urged to come together and protest this issue. It is also very important for non residents of Belize to support this issue. Many of you have fallen in love with Ambergris Caye and keep coming back for more. Off I went on another adventure. First stop was to pick up kerosene at the tortilla place on back street for the fire show - they are only open till 2 pm so was important to get there in a timely manner. It was not long after before Lara showed up and we headed to her house and picked up a few kids along the way. Time passes so fast some days. We got there in good time and Lara asked me to do some reiki on her shoulder to help shift the energy block and loosen it up before the show. That went well - not long after Paul turned up and we all headed off to Palm house for the wedding. The bride and groom Dani and Leon Anderson were a lovely couple and had many great friends and family sharing their moment. The fire show was a big hit and everyone enjoyed the surprise.
