Off to the pool - will get to see who turned up for Tai Chi. I had every intention to go but the state of the internet greatly slowed down my morning work. Booting left right and center today. I hope I can slow my mind down enough for class - it is a gorgeous sunny day so that will help. Cloud watching is always a good way to chill out - occasional planes are fun too - we laugh and say if they are flying south some people are sad and flying north everyone is excited happy and getting their San Pedro high. Was interesting to see Erin and Jo go through it for second time. Chat you later.... Pool was fabulous - hot hot hot. I was not cold by the end of class and quite happier for it. Ruthie has been bringing her weights into the deep end so I decided to give it a try and we were figuring out some new ways to increase our work out. Madame said we would try some out next class. Went for an afternoon cart ride south here are a few pics... Scored a ride with Chunky and Ruth Tai Chi Tai Chi wa

Tai Chi Classes - San Pedro Belize

Public Service announcement from Zac and San Pedro Fitness Club... Tai Chi for Health Tai Chi, is an ancient form of Chinese classical dance created about seven hundred years ago by a Taoist priest. The fundamental principles of this dance fall into four categories: health, self-defense, mental accomplishment, and the way of immortality. In the Classics of Tai Chi it is said, "When the lowest vertebrae are plumb erect, the spirit of vitality reaches to the top of the head; when the top of the head feels as if it is suspended from above, the whole body will be light and nimble." This is the way to strengthen the spine, and by strengthening the spine, one not only automatically strengthens the internal organs, but the brain itself. The Tai Chi Classics also say, "The chi should be stimulated." The chi is an inherent oxygen in the body for stamina and vitality…if the chi is persistently stimulated, it produces heat and becomes powerfully effective in activating the

Having my first coffee and reading updated info about the musical line up for Savor San Pedro food Festival . A bit slow this morning woke at about 6:50 good thing I do not have far to go to work ha ha. 10:29am Internet is just a mess this morning - making it very difficult to get things done as easily as they should be. I think mercury must be in retrograde or something cause everything feels jammed up. Been Jo who was texting from Miami airport. They are on second leg of and will be landing in Belize city around 2:20pmcst. It is like pulling teeth trying to figure out meeting up with them later. We are in a work day so would be a bit helpful to figure out rough timing of things since we will have their golf cart. Break time - before I go Crazy. 3:10pm Picked up- car - went grabbed video Paul and headed to town to do errands. Got groceries - some larger plastic glasses and a new broom. Saw lots of people - everyone out enjoying the sun. No word from Erin and Jo yet. Pics finally going

For some reason Paul woke up very early this morning. I lay in bed and tried to fall back asleep but all I could think of was how good an iced coffee would taste - things to ad to my list and if there was a good sunrise this morning I could go to the beach. I checked the clock - 4:40 am lay there a few min longer and decided to get up and start my day. Stay tuned for more... 5:23am Looks like sunrise will be a bust it just started raining hard. Good news is I have crossed update phone list off my list - always a difficult task for me as I am dyslexic and often flip numbers. I keep a copy of my phone list on my computer as a back up and it has proved handy many times when someone range me to get someone's number or has lost all their numbers and is starting from scratch. Michele in Playa had a good tip email yourself your phone list then you have it where ever you are as long as you have pc access. 6:04am Rain stopped quickly but still looks a bit iffy out there. It's raining it's pouring

7:34 am Late start this morning but it's pouring rain and I could not help laying in bed a bit longer. Been raining since about 1:30 am last night. We both woke up and rushed around checking windows - I forgot my crank radio was outside but luckily it was in a dry patch when I found it. 8:20 am Ran is letting up a bit. Finishing of my first coffee of the day and chatting with Sharon on the coconut phone. Amazing how sometimes chatting with friends can put life in fresh perspective. I say that because chatting with Sharon about all the good changes going on in her world is spilling over and making me feel excited about what is to come for us all. Erin and Jo start their journey here tomorrow with an overnight in Newark and then turn up here on Wed for 10 whole winter free days. Enough at the computer for now - time to go clean house. What a difference since yesterday which was bright - hot - sunny and dreamy - perfect for laying in the hammock reading and listening to the radio.
